One of my long-time students, Varun, makes me proud with every lesson. He is a person and a student who has enriched my views on music.

When I first met him in November 2020, he struggled to distinguish a C3 from a G7 and lacked aural skills. He was - in short - tone deaf.

I presented him with a study plan that I defined as an experiment at the time, and I never lied to him. Thanks to his devotion, stubbornness, and wonderful positive personality, along with a great deal of resources from my side, we have made significant progress. Nowadays (as of the end of April 2023), he can successfully enjoy a karaoke session, and most importantly, so can his family!

Our classes today are a balanced mix of music theory, solfège, and singing.

I cannot promise this will happen to anyone, but Varun's experience has taught us both a lot. I am humbled and grateful that he has trusted me 100% as his singing teacher.
