Before becoming an opera singer, I was simply a kid that couldn’t get enough of singing. I’d sing whatever, wherever, no matter what. I swear my parents were simply desperate to keep me quiet for at least 10 minutes!

That’s when they got the genious idea of putting me into a childrens’ choir. Before I knew it, I was cast into La Scala Theatre which I have been so lucky to call home for 10 years. From 8 to 18 years old, that has indeed been my “musical mother” who has taught me so much about everything that there is to know on this job.

As soon as I graduated, the La Scala’s Academy itself started directing parents to me, so that I could help preparing their kids to audition for them. Teaching singing to children has definitely been a natural path of career for me, which I have always enjoyed and continue to pursue as a specialty.

It simply fills me with joy and gratitude to work with such kind, innocent and vibrant musical seeds, and be part of their growth.

Even though my personal path has been into the operatic genre, that doesn’t mean I teach exclusively that. Actually, I like to work on suitable repertoires for young learners and especially songs and vibes that they like and love to listen to first. In my classroom, fun and health are two major anchoring points, and every choice is made respecting them.
